Adipurush Twitter Reactions: Prabhas’ Spectacular Return Ignites Fan Frenzy; Praises for Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan

Adipurush, the highly anticipated Bollywood movie directed by Om Raut, made its grand debut in theaters on June 16th. Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, the film has been the center of attention among cinephiles.

Amidst numerous controversies, conflicts, and dilemmas, Adipurush finally hit the big screens, receiving an overwhelming response from both fans and critics. The early morning shows at 4 am in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh were completely sold out, as fans rejoiced over Prabhas’ triumphant return as Lord Ram. The movie was released in 2D and 3D formats, catering to audiences in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.

As the first shows commenced, social media platforms were flooded with expressions of excitement, enthusiasm, and opinions about the film. One Twitter user shared their thoughts, stating, “#Adipurush, Some movies shouldn’t be judged but just appreciated. Adipurush is that film for this modern world. Apart from the dragged second half, the movie has enough goosebumps moments for fans. Negatives: VFX is still half-baked. Positives: Screenplay, Music… Rating: 4/5.” Another user commented, “#Adipurush… Is a very good movie with okayish VFX. The screen presence of the lead characters was outstanding, with no flaws. Om’s direction was superb, and some scenes had outstanding VFX. Don’t believe any rumors. Om presented it really well; it’s good and worth watching. Some scenes were disappointing, but not the movie.”

Adipurush has been the subject of heated debates ever since its teaser was released last year. The filmmakers faced significant backlash when the teaser failed to meet expectations, surprising everyone by revealing that the movie was not a live-action adaptation of the Indian epic, but rather a live-animation project. The VFX in the teaser also received criticism for its sub-par quality.

About Adipurush Inspired by the Hindu mythological epic Ramayan, Prabhas and Kriti Sanon’s Adipurush aims to dominate the box office with its blockbuster opening. Prabhas portrays the character of Raghav, Kriti Sanon plays Janaki, and Saif Ali Khan takes on the role of Ravan. Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage contribute to the supporting cast. The film beautifully embodies the virtues of Lord Ram, encompassing Dharma, Courage, and Sacrifice, as evident from its elegant poster. Before its theatrical release, Adipurush will have its world premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival in New York.

Reportedly, Adipurush holds the distinction of being the most expensive Indian film ever made, with a whopping budget of Rs 500 crore.
