Bigg Boss

Aaliya Siddiqui, the estranged wife of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, recently made her highly anticipated debut on Bigg Boss OTT 2, marking her entry into the world of OTT platforms. In the midst of their tumultuous relationship, Aaliya Siddiqui, who is participating as a contestant on the reality show, has candidly shared her thoughts and experiences.

Known predominantly as a star wife, Aaliya expressed her sentiments about her identity being confined solely to her association with her famous husband. During her introduction on the stage by Salman Khan, she voiced, “For the longest time, my identity has been tied to being a star wife. When respect is lacking in a relationship, it gradually weakens. I have faced countless challenges over the past 19 years. When there is no one to listen to your grievances internally, you find solace in expressing them externally, and that’s precisely what I did. I aim to put an end to all the tribulations I have faced in my married life, which is why I decided to be a part of Bigg Boss.

She further elaborated, “My objective is to overcome the shadows cast by my troubled marriage and embark on a fresh journey in my life. I have always aspired to build a career of my own. Dwelling on the past is not my intention; instead, I strive to conclude that chapter on a positive note. Life is bound to present challenges, and one’s reaction is often a response to those circumstances.”

Addressing her desire to break free from the label of a ‘star wife,’ Aaliya admitted, “I acknowledge that I am primarily recognized as a star wife, and I have never denied that fact. My marriage was marred by numerous issues, leading me to seek an identity of my own. Bigg Boss OTT 2 has provided me with the ideal platform to establish that individuality.”

Amidst the ongoing feud between Aaliya and Nawaz, she recently shared a joyous picture of herself with a friend on social media, accompanied by the question, “Don’t I have the right to be happy?” This post triggered criticism from some segments of society due to her decision not to change her surname. In another Instagram post on May 6th, Aaliya Siddiqui uploaded a picture of herself holding a cup of coffee, dressed in a black and red outfit. Standing beside her was an unidentified man, whose identity remains undisclosed. She wrote, “It took me over 19 years to extricate myself from a cherished relationship. However, my children have always been and will continue to be my top priority in life. Nonetheless, there are a few relationships that transcend the boundaries of friendship, and this relationship falls into that category. I am genuinely content and wanted to share my happiness with all of you. Don’t I have the right to be happy?”

The divorce battle between Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya Siddiqui has captivated widespread attention, with both parties levelling allegations against each other. Together, they have two children, a daughter named Shora (12) and a son named Yaani (7).
